Design Studio 1.3 is now in GA, you can now save Design Studio application in HANA repository, and this blog will help you Install SAP BusinessObjects Design Studio in SAP HANA Studio.

Prerequisites:

• SAP HANA SPS 07
• SAPUI5_1 Delivery Unit is installed on the SAP HANA system.
• HCO_INA_SERVICE Delivery Unit is installed on the SAP HANA system.
• A suitable version of SAP HANA Studio is installed on the local machines of your application designers.

Download the Design Studio for HANA from SAP Market Place:

Download the SAR, SAP HANA deployment content is available in the HCOBIAAS.tgz file.

Steps:

1. Start SAP HANA Studio and log on to the system where you want to deploy the delivery unit.

Choose File -> Import -> SAP HANA Content -> Delivery Unit.

2. Select your SAP HANA system and click Next.

3. Select Client and click Browse.

4. Navigate to the downloaded SAP BusinessObjects Design Studio for SAP HANA Delivery Unit on your computer (HCOBIAAS.tgz) and select it.

5. Make sure that the Overwrite inactive versions and Activate objects checkboxes are selected.

6. Click Finish.

You are all set to deploy your Design Studio applications on HANA.
